A Palestinian Stone Library website has been established and developed by the Palestinian Stone and Marble Center, PSMC to provide valuable information about the main Palestinian stone types including images, category and physical characteristics of the main Palestinian stone types.

Stone samples have been collected from their sources and tested according to American Standards (ASTM), European Standards (EU) and Palestinian Standards.

Stone and Marble industry in Palestine is considered one of the conventional and historic industries and it is one of the most important productive sectors in Palestine and plays a prominent role in its economy.
